Warfarin Sodium generally does not have any side effects but when
not prescribed by a specialist it can have some adverse effect.
Warfarin Sodium when taken in without proper guidance can decrease
the volume of glucose in the blood. This condition can lead to
unconsciousness. Loss of blood through nose, excess outburst of
blood without warning, shivering can be experienced. Various brands
of medicines are available in the market these days having some or
the other side effects.
The severity of side effects depends from person to person. The very
common side effects seen with Warfarin Sodium include dizziness,
drowsiness, headache, constipation, loss of appetite, fatigue, nasal
congestion or dry eyes, but they generally go away after only a few
days of use. Other severe side effects with this drug are impotence
that is erectile dysfunction, removal of proteins in the urine and
also Coumadin Tablets which is presence of sugar and glucose in the
urine.
The drug can slow down the heart pumping; number of beats, liver
damage is the severe causes. Slow rate of metabolism, weakened body,
breaking down the body tissues are also rarely seen in some cases.
Proper resting, dieting, sleep, avoiding cold food, cool drinks etc
will make the drug more effective leading to quick recovery. A
frequent over dose may result in change in mucus color, bad taste in
mouth, sore throat, rash and dry mouth. Warfarin Sodium is an
effective drug used in the treatment of blood clotting in veins and
lungs.
